The Challenge
- Quebec Solar came to me when they were a new business starting in Montreal, Quebec.
- They had chosen a theme for their website and wanted me to develop the site using that theme.
- I needed to learn the way the theme worked before I could start the project.
The Solution
- I took some time to examine the theme they had purchased before I started work on the project.
- I used the logo and colour scheme requested by the client, and they gave me all of the images and content to use.
- I set up the layout of the pages and made design suggestions that were agreed to.
- I wrote some additional CSS styling code to specify some things that were not included in the theme.
Note: I usually prefer that my clients start with a clean slate, and haven’t purchased a theme before contacting me. However, in this case, they had chosen a very versatile theme that was not too difficult to work with.
