I am ver happy to say that Wyne Pratt liked the personal website I created for him so much that he asked me to build his business website too!
The Challenge
- Because this was the second site I was building for Mr. Pratt, I knew I needed to build something of the same quality, yet different enough to separate it from his personal page.
- So this was primarily a design challenge.
The Solution
- I used the same theme that I had used for Mr. Pratt’s personal site, but changed the design completely.
- We set the site up on the same hosting that was used for Wayne’s first site.
- I used the logo given to me by Wayne, and designed by Steve Brenninkmeyer
- We set up an account where Wayne could buy copyright-free images.
- Wayne gave me all of the images and text content to use.
- I took some of the images and created a collage banner for the site.
- I set up the layout of the pages
- I added links to downloadable documents that Wayne offers to his visitors.
- I added a Bookstore page, which lists all of the books recommended by Wayne, with links for each to Amazon for purchase.
